The Back to School Entrepreneur

School is starting, and our kids will soon be back learning Math, English, Social Studies, and other important subjects to help them fit into the social structure of our society. Yet I hear the question asked a lot why we were never taught the important stuff, like how to pay our taxes, or how to start a businesses. As far as viable skills go, you would think these would be of higher importance to teach the youth!

These are skills that I had to teach myself after years of working a 9-5, feeling lost and unsure of myself, and of my future. From learning how to start a sole proprietorship, how to budget and learn financial literacy for my business and my own personal life, to overall stress management, these are all key components for Life that seem to be neglected in our current curriculum today.

We will be looking to offer coaching and mentorship programs geared towards the Youth on an on-going basis, with different options available for in-person or Zoom consultations, individual or group work. We aspire to spark individualism and creativity, to motivate today’s Youth to find passion in their lives and in their carriers, and to foster and build a goal-oriented path to help navigate life. Finding pride and fulfilment in one’s actions is a reason to get out of bed every morning. To be able to look ahead with a vision of who you want to be and how you’re going to get there. This skill is invaluable in the pursuit of a meaningful life, and we feel it is under-promoted in our education system today.
