There are many different blends and variations of lawn fertilizers. 

As the season progresses we offer different customized blends of Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium to ensure optimal results for your lawn’s health!

Sadly, yes. Weed control can kill any above-surface broadleaf weeds but will not affect any seeds that may still be in the soil. 

The goal is to reduce the amount of weeds currently present, thus reducing the amount of seeds they will spread. Overtime it’s possible to drastically reduce weed growth on a more permanent basis.

Aerating is one of the key steps to ensuring a healthy lawn, and should be performed once per season. This should ideally occur in the Spring.

High traffic areas will lead to soil compaction and contribute to thatch accumulation. Breaking through the soil will allow for proper penetration of nutrients to the roots of your lawn! 

Dethatching, aka “power raking” is a very stressful procedure and should only be performed once every couple of years. 

It is still possible to hand rake out any dead or decaying material to allow for new growth. Raking by hand won’t yield the same results, but can be an intermediate step while the lawn is still recovering from machine work.

In order to accommodate everyone, we offer mowing on a weekly or biweekly basis. If a day needs to be postponed due to rain or other unfavorable conditions, the following week’s mowing will resume on the same scheduled day. 

One-time mows can be arranged but will incur additional cost.  

While we can usually base our pricing on the lawn’s overall size, factors such as Stairs, or difficult access will also play a factor. 

Customers should note any narrow gates or difficult stairs that may require specialized equipment or a second set of hands to carry or lift machines.

While they can be taken, we greatly prefer payments made using E-transfer or cheque. As a small, local business it is harder for us to accommodate the additional fees associated with using Credit Cards.
